Ayca Vural-Cutts | Director of Studio AVC

Ayca Vural-Cutts, founder and director of Studio AVC, brings over 20 years of expertise in architecture and interior design. After completing her studies, Ayca advanced her career in senior design roles at leading firms, including Foster + Partners and Zaha Hadid Architects. Since founding Studio AVC in 2013, she has been dedicated to delivering innovative, high-quality architectural and interior design solutions.

Ayca’s portfolio includes some of the world’s most iconic structures, such as the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Centre in Riyadh, the Khan Shatyry Entertainment Centre (the world’s tallest tensile structure), and the Palace of Peace in Astana, completed within a record timeframe. Her experience covers high-profile, mixed-use projects, including the Hermitage Towers in Paris, the Seattle Civic Center, and the Al Faisaliah II tower in Riyadh.

Additionally, Ayca has led early design and feasibility studies for substantial global projects, including the Banyan Tree and Mauritius Resort, the Slussen Master Plan in Stockholm, Exeter College in Oxford, and various studies in London. Known for her strategic approach, she unifies concept development, feasibility analysis, and execution into a cohesive vision.

Beyond her extensive project work, Ayca provides design consultancy on large-scale developments and actively contributes to the Design Review Panels for Merton, Wandsworth, and Richmond Councils. She is also a regular contributor to international architectural publications and teaches interior design at South Thames College.
