The Khan Shatyry

The Khan Shatyry Entertainment Centre sits at the northern end of the new city axis in Astana. Providing a sheltered response to the harsh climate, it accommodates an indoor urban park for Astana along with a beach and water park. The mixed-used buiding accommodates a shopping and entertainment venue, including restaurants and cinemas. The 150m high tent-like cable structure is the tallest tensile structure in the world.
